17 "Taliban" militants killed in joint Afghan operations:
The operations were conducted in Nangarhar, Kunduz, Balkh, Ghazni
and Helmand provinces of Afghanistan, Afghan Interior Ministry said
following the statement adding that at least 18 Taliban militants were
also detained following the operations.
